PHL 262 -- Introduction to Modern Philosophy -- Exams
Exams
- Exams : All exams will take place in the regular classroom. They are closed books, closed notes. The exams will consist in two parts:
- The first part consists in short questions to which you are expected to give short answers. You should not expect to be able to have full credit with a single sentence answer. More than a paragraph, on the other hand, is probably too much. Provide examples to illustrate your point.
The short questions will be taken out of the study questions that you had to answer to in your homework. This means that all you have to do is to go through the material, prepare and learn your answers to the study questions.
- The second part consists in an essay question. Before you take the exam, please read carefully my grading policies -- in the syllabus -- as well as the advice below on this page. Your main goal should be to be clear and sharp. Make a small point, but make it well.
